TT #762 · Parashas Ki Seitzei · Seventh Aliyah · Passuk 25:11
When men strive together, a man and his brother, and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who strikes him, and she puts out her hand and seizes him by his private parts,
Torah Temimah points to Sifrei.
TT lemma:
English: I have only men; from where do we know a man with a woman or a woman with a man? Scripture says “together” — in any combination.
On the daf / in context: The law of intervention and the penalty apply regardless of the gender composition of the quarreling parties.
Ribbui from “together.”
The law applies to any pair of people striving together, not only to two men.
