When men strive together, a man and his brother, and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who strikes him, and she puts out her hand and seizes him by his private parts,

TT lemma: כִּי יִנָּצוּ אֲנָשִׁים.
כִּי יִנָּצוּ אֲנָשִׁים – אֵין שָׁלוֹם יוֹצֵא מִתּוֹךְ מְרִיבָה.
English: “When men strive together” — no peace comes out of strife.
On the daf / in context: The opening of the section on the woman who intervenes in a fight is framed by the observation that quarrel leads to further harm.
Derash on the nature of strife.
The laws that follow arise from a situation of conflict; peace is not the expected outcome of such strife.
