וְאָמְר֞וּ אֶל־זִקְנֵ֣י עִיר֗וֹ בְּנֵ֤נוּ זֶה֙ סוֹרֵ֣ר וּמֹרֶ֔ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ שֹׁמֵ֖עַ בְּקֹלֵ֑נוּ זוֹלֵ֖ל וְסֹבֵֽא׃

And they shall say to the elders of his city: This son of ours is wayward and rebellious; he does not listen to our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.

זוֹלֵל וְסֹבֵא – אָכַל חֲצִי לִטְרָא בָּשָׂר וְשָׁתָה חֲצִי לֹג יַיִן.

English: “A glutton and a drunkard” — he ate a half-log of meat and drank a half-log of wine.

On the daf / in context: The Gemara defines the minimum quantities that constitute the prohibited gluttony and drunkenness for this law. The meat and wine must be purchased with money stolen from the parents.
