וְנָתַתָּ֖ה בַּכָּ֑סֶף וְצַרְתָּ֤ הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ בְּיָ֣דְךָ֔ וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ אֶל־הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַ֛ר יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בּֽוֹ׃

Then you shall turn it into money, and bind up the money in your hand, and go to the place that Hashem your God shall choose.

Torah Temimah points to Kiddushin.

הַכֶּסֶף – כֶּסֶף הַכֶּסֶף לְרַבּוֹת אֲפִלּוּ פְּרוּטוֹת.

English: "The money" — the doubled language of "kesef" includes even perutos.

On the daf / in context: Even the smallest copper coins may be used for the redemption of ma’aser sheni.

Derash on the verse (Kiddushin) — perutos are valid for redemption.

Ma’aser sheni may be redeemed even upon copper perutos.
