And the pure person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day, and shall purify him on the seventh day; and he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be pure at evening.
English: It was taught: R. Yehoshua ben Kevsai said, all my days I read this verse “and the pure shall sprinkle upon the unclean” as one pure sprinkling upon one unclean, until I learned from the storehouse of Yavneh; and the Sages say even if all are non-Jews and one Yisrael is among them.
