היה ר' מאיר אומר: מניין שאפילו עובד כוכבים ועוסק בתורה שהוא ככהן גדול? ת"ל אשר יעשה אותם האדם — כהנים לוים וישראלים לא נאמר אלא אדם.
English: R. Meir: even a gentile who engages in Torah is like a Kohen Gadol — the verse says “the human,” not “Kohanim, Levites and Israelites.”
