וְאִשָּׁה֙ כִּֽי־תִהְיֶ֣ה זָבָ֔ה דָּ֛ם יִהְיֶ֥ה זֹבָ֖הּ בִּבְשָׂרָ֑הּ שִׁבְעַ֤ת יָמִים֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה בְנִדָּתָ֔הּ וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּ֖הּ יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תִּהְיֶה בְנִדָּתָהּ — אֵין לִי אֶלָּא יָמִים; לֵילוֹת מִנַּיִן? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר תִּהְיֶה — לְרַבּוֹת הַלֵּילוֹת.
English: “Seven days she shall be in her niddah” — I have only days; nights from where? Scripture teaches “she shall be” — to include the nights.
