שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תִּהְיֶה בְנִדָּתָהּ — יָכוֹל עַד שֶׁתִּהְיֶה רוֹאָה דָּם כָּל שִׁבְעָה? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר תִּהְיֶה — אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁאֵינָהּ רוֹאָה.
English: “Seven days she shall be in her niddah” — one might think only as long as she sees blood all seven; Scripture teaches “she shall be” — even though she does not see.
