כִּ֤י תָבֹ֙אוּ֙ אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֛י נֹתֵ֥ן לָכֶ֖ם לַאֲחֻזָּ֑ה וְנָתַתִּי֙ נֶ֣גַע צָרַ֔עַת בְּבֵ֖ית אֶ֥רֶץ אֲחֻזַּתְכֶֽם׃

אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם — יָכוֹל מִשֶּׁבָּאוּ לְעַמּוֹן וּמוֹאָב, תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי נֹתֵן לָכֶם וְלֹא עַמּוֹן וּמוֹאָב.
English: “Which I give you” — one might think [the law applies] from the time they came to Ammon and Moav; therefore the verse says “which I give you” — and not Ammon and Moav.
