Derasha 3 on Metzora 14:34

English: “As a possession” — until they conquer it. [Even after] they conquered it but have not yet divided it among the tribes, or divided it among the tribes but not among the ancestral houses, or divided it among the ancestral houses but each person does not yet recognize his own — whence [do we know these are excluded]? From the verse “and the one to whom the house belongs shall come” — one to whom it is uniquely his; these [stages] in which it is not yet uniquely his are excluded.
