Remember what Amalek did to you on the way when you came out of Egypt,

TT lemma: בַּדֶּרֶךְ בְּצֵאתְכֶם מִמִּצְרָיִם.
בַּדֶּרֶךְ – בִּשְׁעַת טִרְדַּתְכֶם; בְּצֵאתְכֶם מִמִּצְרָיִם – בִּשְׁעַת גְּאֻלַּתְכֶם.
English: “On the way” — at the time of your weariness; “when you came out of Egypt” — at the time of your redemption.
On the daf / in context: Amalek attacked at a moment of vulnerability, immediately after the Exodus.
Derash on the circumstances of the attack.
Amalek’s crime is heightened by the fact that he attacked Israel when they were weary and newly redeemed.
