And she shall remove the garment of her captivity from upon her, and she shall remain in your house and weep for her father and her mother a full month; and afterward you may come to her and possess her, and she shall be your wife.
English: “And she shall be your wife” — in the same manner as it is said “her food, her clothing, and her conjugal rights he shall not diminish.”
On the daf / in context: Once the process is complete she is a full wife with all the ordinary marital obligations. She is not to be treated as a mere captive or slave.
