Atone for Your people Yisrael whom You have redeemed, O Eternal, and do not place innocent blood in the midst of Your people Yisrael. And the blood shall be atoned for them.

English: ‘Atone for Your people Yisrael’ – the kohanim say this.
Derash assigning the speaker (Bavli / Sifrei) — the kohanim pronounce the request for kapparah.
After the elders’ declaration the kohanim recite: ‘Atone for Your people Yisrael whom You have redeemed.’
