And the kohanim, the sons of Levi, shall approach, for them the Eternal your God has chosen to serve Him and to bless in the name of the Eternal, and according to their word shall be every dispute and every plague.

English: ‘And the kohanim, the sons of Levi, shall approach’ – to be present.
Derash on the presence of kohanim (Bavli / Sifrei) — their attendance is required for the ceremony.
Kohanim of the tribe of Levi must approach and be present when the eglah arufah is performed.
