לֹא־תָח֥וֹס עֵינְךָ֖ עָלָ֑יו וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֧ דַם־הַנָּקִ֛י מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְט֥וֹב לָֽךְ׃

Your eye shall not pity him; you shall purge the innocent blood from Yisrael, and it shall be good for you.

לֹא תָחוֹס עֵינְךָ עָלָיו – שֶׁלֹּא תְלַמֵּד עָלָיו זְכוּת.

English: ‘Your eye shall not pity him’ – that you not find grounds to acquit him.

On the daf / in context: No misplaced mercy for the intentional murderer.
