And you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter and your manservant and your maidservant and the Levi and the stranger and the orphan and the widow who are within your gates.
Torah Temimah points to Pesachim.
English: "You and your son..." — The Sages taught: A person is obligated to make his children and the members of his household rejoice on the festival, as it is said "and you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter..."; with what does one make them rejoice?—men with wine and women with garments.
Derash on the verse (Pesachim) — the duty to make one’s household rejoice.
A person must ensure that his sons, daughters and household rejoice on the festival—men with wine and women with new clothing.
