English: "And in the morning you shall turn" — this teaches that they require overnight staying in Yerushalayim. I know only these; from where do I include birds, meal-offerings, wine, frankincense and wood? From the verse "and in the morning you shall turn"—every turning that you turn shall be from the morning onward.

On the daf / in context: Anyone who brings an offering must remain overnight in Yerushalayim and may leave only after dawn.

Type of Learning

Derash on the verse (Pesachim) — the requirement of linah in Yerushalayim.

What Is Learned

One who brings an offering must spend the night in Yerushalayim and may depart only in the morning.
