You shall not eat leaven with it; seven days you shall eat with it matzos, the bread of affliction, for in haste you went out of the land of Egypt, in order that you may remember the day of your going out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
English: "You shall eat matzos with it" — and next to it is written "you shall not eat leaven with it"; this teaches that one fulfills the obligation of matzah only with something whose prohibition is because of "you shall not eat chametz." This excludes matzah of tevel, which is forbidden because of tevel.
