עַשֵּׂ֣ר תְּעַשֵּׂ֔ר אֵ֖ת כׇּל־תְּבוּאַ֣ת זַרְעֶ֑ךָ הַיֹּצֵ֥א הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה שָׁנָ֥ה שָׁנָֽה׃

You shall surely tithe all the produce of your seed that comes forth from the field year by year.

הַיּוֹצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה – פְּרָט לְאִילָן שֶׁנְּטָעוֹ בְּתוֹךְ הַבַּיִת שֶׁפָּטוּר מִמַּעֲשֵׂר.

English: “That comes forth from the field” — excluding a tree planted inside a house, which is exempt from ma’aser.

On the daf / in context: A tree grown entirely indoors is not regarded as “coming forth from the field” and is therefore free of the biblical obligation (though some authorities impose a rabbinic obligation).
