וְלֹֽא־יִדְבַּ֧ק בְּיָדְךָ֛ מְא֖וּמָה מִן־הַחֵ֑רֶם לְמַעַן֩ יָשׁ֨וּב יְהֹוָ֜ה מֵחֲר֣וֹן אַפּ֗וֹ וְנָֽתַן־לְךָ֤ רַחֲמִים֙ וְרִֽחַמְךָ֣ וְהִרְבֶּ֔ךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
And nothing of the devoted thing shall cling to your hand, so that Hashem may turn from His burning anger and grant you mercy and have compassion on you and multiply you, as He swore to your fathers.

בְּיָדְךָ מְאוּמָה – מִכָּאן לַעֲבוֹדַת כּוֹכָבִים שֶׁאוֹסֶרֶת בְּכָל שֶׁהוּא.
English: “In your hand anything” — From here we learn that idolatry forbids even the smallest amount.
