TT #109 · Parashas Reeh · Second Aliyah · Passuk 12:27
And you shall offer your burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of Hashem your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of Hashem your God, and the flesh you shall eat.
Torah Temimah points to Sifrei / Zevachim.
English: “And the flesh you shall eat” — And above it is written “and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out.” This teaches that if there is no blood there is no flesh, and if there is no flesh there is no blood. But this was already derived from “and you shall offer your burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood.” It is needed: one for the burnt-offering and one for the peace-offerings.
Derash on the verse (Sifrei) — extending the interdependence of flesh and blood to shelamim.
The interdependence of flesh and blood applies both to the burnt-offering and to the peace-offerings.
