And you shall offer your burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of Hashem your God; and the blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of Hashem your God, and the flesh you shall eat.
English: “The flesh and the blood” — It was taught: R’ Yehoshua says: “And you shall offer your burnt-offerings, the flesh and the blood.” If there is no blood, there is no flesh; if there is no flesh, there is no blood.
On the daf / in context: The interdependence of flesh and blood in the olah means that if either becomes invalid, the other is likewise invalidated and may not be offered.
