רַ֣ק חֲזַ֗ק לְבִלְתִּי֙ אֲכֹ֣ל הַדָּ֔ם כִּ֥י הַדָּ֖ם ה֣וּא הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ וְלֹא־תֹאכַ֥ל הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ עִם־הַבָּשָֽׂר׃

Only be strong not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.

וְלֹא תֹאכַל וגו׳ – תַּנְיָא, הָאוֹכֵל אֵבֶר מִן הַחַי מִן הַטְּרֵפָה חַיָּב שְׁתַּיִם, מִשּׁוּם לֹא תֹאכְלוּ כָּל נְבֵלָה וּמִשּׁוּם וְלֹא תֹאכַל הַנֶּפֶשׁ עִם הַבָּשָׂר.

English: “And you shall not eat…” — It was taught: One who eats a limb from a living animal that is treifah incurs two [sets of lashes], because of “you shall not eat any neveilah” and because of “and you shall not eat the life with the flesh.”

On the daf / in context: When the animal is already treifah, eating a limb from it while it is still alive generates dual liability.
