לֹא תַעֲשׂוּן כֵּן וגו׳ – תַּנְיָא, הַמְבַשֵּׁל בַּעֲצֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ לוֹקֶה, וְאַזְהָרָתֵיהּ מֵהָכָא וְאַשֵׁרֵיהֶם תִּשְׂרְפוּן בָּאֵשׁ לֹא תַעֲשׂוּן כֵּן לַה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.

English: “You shall not do so…” — It was taught: One who cooks with sacred wood incurs lashes; the prohibition is derived from here: “and their asherim you shall burn with fire — you shall not do so to Hashem your God.”
