כִּ֤י אַתֶּם֙ עֹבְרִ֣ים אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן לָבֹא֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם נֹתֵ֣ן לָכֶ֑ם וִֽירִשְׁתֶּ֥ם אֹתָ֖הּ וִֽישַׁבְתֶּם־בָּֽהּ׃

For you are crossing the Jordan to come to possess the land that Hashem your God is giving you; you shall possess it and dwell in it.

וִירִשְׁתֶּם וִישַׁבְתֶּם – תַּנְיָא, וִירִשְׁתֶּם אוֹתָהּ וִישַׁבְתֶּם בָּהּ, בִּזְכוּת שֶׁתִּירְשׁוּ תֵּשְׁבוּ.

English: “You shall possess it and dwell in it” — It was taught: “You shall possess it and dwell in it” — in the merit that you take possession, you shall dwell.
