אַךְ אֶת הַזָּהָב. מִדְּאוֹרַיְתָא צָרִיךְ חִטּוּי כְּלֵי מַתָּכוֹת בְּטֻמְאָה חֲדָשָׁה; וְשִׁמְעוֹן בֶּן שֶׁטַח גָּזַר אֲפִלּוּ בְּטֻמְאָה יְשָׁנָה — מִשּׁוּם גֶּדֶר מֵי חַטָּאת. (שַׁבָּת ט״ז ב׳)
