וַיֹּאמֶר אֶלְעָזָר. אָמַר רֵישׁ לָקִישׁ: כָּל אָדָם שֶׁכּוֹעֵס, אִם חָכָם הוּא חָכְמָתוֹ מִסְתַּלֶּקֶת מִמֶּנּוּ — דִּכְתִיב וַיִּקְצֹף מֹשֶׁה, וּכְתִיב וַיֹּאמֶר אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן זֹאת חֻקַּת הַתּוֹרָה, מִכְּלָל דְּמֹשֶׁה נִתְעַלְּמָה מִמֶּנּוּ הֲלָכָה. (פְּסָחִים ס״ו ב׳)
