Core Text of Chazal

Core Text

English: Why write “or a sacrifice”? You might have said two olos or two shelamim — one vow and one freewill — one set of nesachim would suffice; this teaches otherwise.

Type of Learning

Per offering when mixed vow and freewill.

What Is Learned

Each offering needs its own nesachim even when one is a vow and one is freewill of the same class.
