וְהִתְנַחֲלְתֶּ֨ם אֹתָ֜ם לִבְנֵיכֶ֤ם אַחֲרֵיכֶם֙ לָרֶ֣שֶׁת אֲחֻזָּ֔ה לְעֹלָ֖ם בָּהֶ֣ם תַּעֲבֹ֑דוּ וּבְאַ֨חֵיכֶ֤ם בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אִ֣ישׁ בְּאָחִ֔יו לֹא־תִרְדֶּ֥ה ב֖וֹ בְּפָֽרֶךְ׃

לְעֹלָם בָּהֶם תַּעֲבֹדוּ. מְלַמֵּד שֶׁהָעֶבֶד כְּנַעֲנִי עוֹבֵד לְעוֹלָם.
English: “Forever with them you shall work.” This teaches that the Canaanite slave serves permanently.
