וְהַֽעֲבַרְתָּ֞ שׁוֹפַ֤ר תְּרוּעָה֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִעִ֔י בֶּעָשׂ֖וֹר לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ בְּיוֹם֙ הַכִּפֻּרִ֔ים תַּעֲבִ֥ירוּ שׁוֹפָ֖ר בְּכׇל־אַרְצְכֶֽם׃

תַּעֲבִירוּ שׁוֹפָר. מְלַמֵּד שֶׁכָּל יָחִיד וְיָחִיד חַיָּב לִתְקֹעַ.
English: “You shall sound a shofar.” This teaches that every individual is obligated to sound [or hear] it.
