שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֔ים תַּקְרִ֥יבוּ אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהֹוָ֑ה בַּיּ֤וֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי֙ מִקְרָא־קֹ֣דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֔ם וְהִקְרַבְתֶּ֥ם אִשֶּׁ֖ה לַיהֹוָ֑ה עֲצֶ֣רֶת הִ֔וא כׇּל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת עֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשֽׂוּ׃

«כָּל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ» – יָכוֹל יִהְיוּ אֲסוּרִים בְּכָל מְלָאכָה? תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר «הוּא» – הוּא אָסוּר בְּכָל מְלָאכָה וְאֵין יְמֵי מוֹעֵד אֲסוּרִים בְּכָל מְלָאכָה, דִּבְרֵי רַבִּי יוֹסֵי הַגְּלִילִי.
