דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ שַׁבָּת֔וֹן זִכְר֥וֹן תְּרוּעָ֖ה מִקְרָא־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי. תַּנְיָא, נֶאֱמַר כָּאן בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי זִכְרוֹן תְּרוּעָה וְנֶאֱמַר בַּיּוֹבֵל וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ שׁוֹפָר תְּרוּעָה בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי, לִתֵּן אֶת הָאָמוּר שֶׁל זֶה בָּזֶה וְשֶׁל זֶה בָּזֶה. (רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה ל״ד א׳)
