דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֤ה לָכֶם֙ שַׁבָּת֔וֹן זִכְר֥וֹן תְּרוּעָ֖ה מִקְרָא־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי. תַּנְיָא, רַבִּי אוֹמֵר, מִנַּיִן שֶׁאוֹמְרִים מַלְכֻיּוֹת בְּרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר אֲנִי ה׳ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם – וּסְמִיךְ לֵיהּ בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי. (רֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה ל״ב א׳)
