וְאִ֨ישׁ אִ֜ישׁ מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וּמִן־הַגֵּר֙ הַגָּ֣ר בְּתוֹכָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצ֜וּד צֵ֥יד חַיָּ֛ה אוֹ־ע֖וֹף אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵאָכֵ֑ל וְשָׁפַךְ֙ אֶת־דָּמ֔וֹ וְכִסָּ֖הוּ בֶּעָפָֽר׃

ושפך וכסהו — מי שאינו מחוסר אלא שפיכה וכסוי; יצאו קדשי מזבח וקדשי בדק הבית שפטורין מכסוי הדם.
English: “He shall pour out and cover it” — only one who lacks nothing but pouring and covering; altar-kodashim and bedek ha-bayit are exempt.
