וְאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִגַּ֖ע בְּמִשְׁכָּב֑וֹ יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃

Core Text

בְּמִשְׁכָּבוֹ — בְּמִשְׁכָּבוֹ וְלֹא הַגָּזוּל.

English: “His bed” — his [own] bed, and not a stolen one.

Exclusion of stolen midras

Chazal exclude a stolen bed from becoming an av hatumah that conveys impurity to a person who touches it.
