וְהָיָה֩ בַיּ֨וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י יְגַלַּ֣ח אֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָר֗וֹ אֶת־רֹאשׁ֤וֹ וְאֶת־זְקָנוֹ֙ וְאֵת֙ גַּבֹּ֣ת עֵינָ֔יו וְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָר֖וֹ יְגַלֵּ֑חַ וְכִבֶּ֣ס אֶת־בְּגָדָ֗יו וְרָחַ֧ץ אֶת־בְּשָׂר֛וֹ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָהֵֽר׃

וְאֶת כָּל שְׂעָרוֹ יְגַלֵּחַ — לִתֵּן אַחֲרָיוּת לַתִּגְלַחַת, שֶׁאִם לֹא גִּלַּח בַּשְּׁבִיעִי יְגַלַּח בַּשְּׁמִינִי וּבַתְּשִׁיעִי וּבָעֲשִׂירִי.
English: “And he shall shave all his hair” — to place responsibility on the shaving: if he did not shave on the seventh day he may shave on the eighth, the ninth, or the tenth.
