כֹּל הוֹלֵךְ עַל־גָּחוֹן וְכֹל הוֹלֵךְ עַל־אַרְבַּע עַד כָּל־מַרְבֵּה רַגְלַיִם לְכָל־הַשֶּׁרֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵץ עַל־הָאָרֶץ לֹא תֹאכְלוּם כִּי־שֶׁקֶץ הֵם:

English: “To every creature with many legs”: this is the centipede; “every” includes similar creatures and those resembling them.

עַד כָּל מַרְבֵּה רַגְלַיִם. תַּנְיָא, מַרְבֵּה רַגְלַיִם – זֶה נָדָל, עַד כָּל – לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַדּוֹמֶה וְהַדּוֹמֶה לַדּוֹמֶה.
