כֹּל הוֹלֵךְ עַל־גָּחוֹן וְכֹל הוֹלֵךְ עַל־אַרְבַּע עַד כָּל־מַרְבֵּה רַגְלַיִם לְכָל־הַשֶּׁרֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵץ עַל־הָאָרֶץ לֹא תֹאכְלוּם כִּי־שֶׁקֶץ הֵם:

English: “Whatever walks on four”: this is the scorpion; “every” includes the beetle and similar creatures.

וְכָל הוֹלֵךְ עַל אַרְבַּע. תַּנְיָא, הוֹלֵךְ עַל אַרְבַּע – זֶה עַקְרָב, כָּל הוֹלֵךְ – לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַחֲפוּשִׁית וְהַדּוֹמֶה לוֹ.
