The Complete Passuk

מִכָּל־הָאֹכֶל אֲשֶׁר יֵאָכֵל אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא עָלָיו מַיִם יִטְמָא וְכָל־מַשְׁקֶה אֲשֶׁר יִשָּׁתֶה בְּכָל־כְּלִי יִטְמָא:

English: “Upon which water comes”: the rule includes water that fell upon the food by itself, not only water deliberately poured upon it.

אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא עָלָיו מַיִם. אֵין לִי אֶלָּא שֶׁמִּלְּאוֹ, מִנַּיִן אֲפִלּוּ אִם יָרְדוּ מֵאֵלֵיהֶן, תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר אֲשֶׁר יָבֹא עָלָיו.
