ואת כל כליו. מכאן דכשם שהמזבח אינו מקדש אלא לדעת כך הכלים אין מקדשין אלא לדעת.
וקדשת את המזבח. לרבות שהנוגע בכבש המזבח נקדש בנוגע במזבח.
English: Just as the altar sanctifies only when its use is intentional, so the sacred vessels sanctify only when they are used with intent. The command to sanctify the altar also teaches that one who touches the altar ramp is sanctified as one who touches the altar.
