English: The basin was placed between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, while the altar itself remained directly before the entrance; accordingly, the basin was set between the Ulam and the altar, drawn slightly toward the south.
Derash reconciling the placement of the basin with the placement of the altar.
The basin did not interrupt the direct line between the altar and the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
