לָמָּה נֶאֱמַר? לְפִי שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וְעָשׂוּ לִי מִקְדָּשׁ, שׁוֹמֵעַ אֲנִי בֵּין בַּחֹל בֵּין בְּשַׁבָּת, תַּלְמוּד לוֹמַר שֵׁשֶׁת יָמִים תֵּעָשֶׂה מְלָאכָה — בַּחֹל וְלֹא בְּשַׁבָּת.
English: Why is the Shabbos command stated here? Because one might think the Mishkan could be built on Shabbos; Scripture teaches that its labor is performed on weekdays, not on Shabbos.
