עַד שֶׁמּוֹשְׁכִין אֶת הַלֶּחֶם הַיָּשָׁן מִן הַשֻּׁלְחָן, כֹּהֲנִים מַנִּיחִין עָלָיו אֶת הֶחָדָשׁ, וְטִפְּחוֹ שֶׁל זֶה בְּצַד טִפְּחוֹ שֶׁל זֶה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר ״לֶחֶם פָּנִים לְפָנַי תָּמִיד״.

English: Until the old bread is removed from the Table, the priests place the new bread upon it, with one handbreadth of the new alongside one handbreadth of the old, because it says, “showbread before Me always.”
