וְאָמַר רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר: הַמַּזִּיחַ חֹשֶׁן מֵעַל הָאֵפוֹד, וְהַמֵּסִיר בַּדֵּי אָרוֹן לוֹקֶה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר ״לֹא יָזֻחַ״ (שמות כח, כח), ״וְלֹא יָסוּרוּ״ (שמות כה, טו). מַתְקִיף לָהּ רַב אַחָא בַּר יַעֲקֹב: וְדִילְמָא כִּי קָאָמַר רַחֲמָנָא חַדְּקִינְהוּ וְעַבְדִינְהוּ שַׁפִּיר כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יָזֻחַ וְלֹא יָסוּרוּ, מִי כְּתִיב ״שֶׁלֹּא יָזֻחַ״ וְ״שֶׁלֹּא יָסוּרוּ״?

English: Rabbi Elazar says that one who removes the poles of the Ark violates a prohibition, derived from “they shall not be removed.” Rav Acha bar Yaakov challenges whether the verse might instead mean that the poles must be fastened securely so that they do not shift.
