English: Rabbi Levi bar Chama said in the name of Rabbi Shimon ben Lakish: “And I will give you the tablets of stone, the Torah and the commandment which I have written to teach them.” “Tablets” means the Ten Commandments; “Torah” means Scripture; “the commandment” means Mishnah; “which I have written” means the Prophets and Writings; and “to teach them” means Gemara. This teaches that all of them were given to Moshe at Sinai.
