הִיא כְסוּתָהּ לְבַדָּהּ — זוֹ טַלִּית; הִיא שִׂמְלָתוֹ לְעֹרוֹ — זֶה חֲלוֹק; בַּמֶּה יִשְׁכָּב — לְרַבּוֹת אֶת הַמַּצָּע.
English: “It is his only covering” refers to a tallis; “his garment for his skin” refers to a cloak; “wherein shall he sleep” includes bedding.
