שחטוהו לשם פסח ואם שחטו שלא לשמו פסול נראה דמדייק משום דבראש הפרשה כתיב ושחטו אותו בכנוי וכאן כתיב ושחטו הפסח דמשמע בשעת שחיטה יהא עליו שם פסח, והיינו שישחטנו לשם פסח, ובסמוך פ' כ"ז תבא עוד דרשה בענין זה. .
English: Slaughter it for the sake of Pesach; and if they slaughtered it not for its own sake, it is invalid.
