English: “And Hashem was with Yosef” — was the wicked Potiphar seeing that Hashem was with him? Rather, the Name of the Holy One never left Yosef’s mouth.
Derash on the verse (midrash) — not a formal named middah of the 13. “Hashem was with him” is explained by continuous mention of the Name.
Yosef’s constant invocation of Hashem made the presence of Heaven visible even to Potiphar.
