English: “Who are found.” Rava expounded: What is the meaning of “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me’”? David said, “I thought I had only now come [into the world], and I did not know that it was already written of me in the scroll of the book.” There it is written “who are found,” and here it is written “I have found David My servant.”
Derash on the verse (Bavli sugya) — not a formal named middah of the 13. Parallel vocabulary connects Lot’s daughters to the later finding of David.
The phrase “who are found” anticipates the language of finding David; the righteous are already written in the divine scroll.
