And it shall be that the firstborn that she bears shall succeed to the name of his dead brother, so that his name shall not be blotted out from Israel.

TT lemma: יָקוּם עַל שֵׁם אָחִיו הַמֵּת.
יָקוּם עַל שֵׁם אָחִיו הַמֵּת – לְנַחֲלָה.
English: “He shall succeed to the name of his dead brother” — with respect to inheritance.
On the daf / in context: The “name” that is established is the deceased brother’s share in the paternal inheritance, which passes to the yavam.
Derash identifying “name” with inheritance.
